It’s fall ya’ll! Did you know that Eaton is conveniently and centrally located for lots of great outdooor socially-distanced (and masked!) autumn activities?
Check out some of our favorites here:
Lair O’ The Bear Park: “Lair o’ the Bear Park is a favorite of Open Space visitors and families due to its abundance of picnic tables and proximity to Bear Creek for fishing. It is also the perfect place to catch some beautiful fall foliage along the creek.”
Rock Creek Farm: “Join us for fall family fun activities at one of the largest pumpkin patches in northern Colorado, admission is always free. We have over 100 acres of U-Pick-Em pumpkin fields for you to explore and find the perfect pumpkins. Pumpkins aren’t where the fun stops, try our hay bale maze or get lost in the winding paths of over six miles of Corn Mazes.
Visit with our pigs, goats, cows, sheep and other farm animals. Enjoy our selection of fall festive treats and decorations such as gourds, baked goods, straw bales and more.”
Cycling Without Age: “This free program offers trishaw rides to seniors through the pedal power of volunteer cyclists or “pilots.” The trishaws have a comfortable two-seat chair on the front of the bicycle, allowing for riders to enjoy a smooth, slow ride in the outdoors while sharing conversation and stories with the pilot.” Contact the front desk to sign up for a ride to tour the fall colors!
Metro Denver Farmer’s Market: “The people behind this operation have been running the oldest farmers’ market in the Denver area for over 40 years now. Go get some of the best selections of this season’s harvest!” This market is open on Saturdays starting at 10 a.m. until sell-out at Mile Hi Church.
