Each May, our nation recognizes Older Americans Month—a time to honor the contributions,
wisdom, and resilience of older adults across the country. This year’s theme, “Powered by
Connection,” highlights how social connections support independence and overall well-being as
we age. As we celebrate our 45th anniversary this year, we are especially proud of the
programs and community spirit that help our residents age well. From wellness classes and
educational workshops to gardening groups and resident led creative clubs, our activities are
designed to keep residents physically, mentally, and socially engaged. Staying active is key to
aging successfully—and we provide many ways to move, learn, and connect. Our Life
Enrichment Program offers daily opportunities to support a healthy lifestyle and foster
friendships. Whether it’s a group fitness session or a knitting club in our community space,
residents find joy in being engaged. Our monthly events also celebrate and encourage learning
and strengthening community ties. Together, we’ll continue to honor our mission of providing
affordable housing in a supportive environment that fosters independence, connection, and
wellness for older adults in our community.
